Happy Thanksgiving

Let's play catch up... Because Brayden got two weeks off for thanksgiving we got everything packed and headed home to Rexburg! We were excited to see everyone for a week before we headed down to Vegas. I think we pretty much just hung out with everyone, played dress up, I was lucky enough to go to the hunger games midnight show with my adorable nieces, and of course grandma did some curlers in madi's hair we also got to eat a few thanksgiving dinners;) I love holidays because we get to see and spend so much time with our families!! The first week flew by like it always does when we come home. And then we got to start the lovely drive to Vegas with a 16 month old (she actually did pretty good but we did watch "the wiggles" around 15 times)
We have been looking forward to Vegas for the last four years, it was so much fun when we went the first time. Our family has definitely grown since then!! The kids loved swimming and planning nightly skits for all of us to watch (Madi is still a little small for the skits but she loved swimming) and the "big kids" played all sorts of fun games. We love being all together and it is nice when we are all in the same house so we can put the kids down for bed and keep talking  all night!
But the real reason we go to Vegas is so we can get those dirt bikes, four-wheelers, and razors out and play!! Madi loved sitting on the front with her dad! She knows just where to hold on and while she is on she just looks  around and acts just like she is one of the big kids out playing. I love that our whole family does something that we all enjoy together!
After all the playing we did have an amazing thanksgiving day dinner and then after we sat by the pool in the sun and just talked! I think it's safe to say that we ate the best food every night when we were there! John and Melissa are great cooks!!
Unfortunately the week came to an end and we had to pack up and start the ride back home. It was a great thanksgiving and we loved every minute of it! Hopefully in another four years we will get to do this again!!! Thanks for all the amazing memories we have so much to be thankful for!
(I was pretty bad at taking pictures because we were having to much fun but here are a few)

She loves wearing her glasses in the car...she is a great little traveler!
