Texas

When we found out that Hadley and Cindy were moving we knew we wanted to go and help.. packing boxes in Texas summer with what felt like 1000% humidity sounds like fun right!?! But really it was fun to see them and their kids and new baby Dash. Madi could not get enough of him!!  Hadley just finished up his residency and is starting his new job as a Doctor...so awesome!!  Madi was a champ on the plane ride and loved having two laps to switch back and forth on.

We had so much fun down there! We got to go to a yummy Mexican restaurant that gives free ice cream cones that you make yourself (all places should do that) Madi played "mommy" to Dash, she seriously wouldn't take her eyes off him and if he started crying she was right there to help. Loaded and unloaded a uhaul. I think we all lost some weight from sweating so much...the poor boys were completly drenched by the time we were done. We took some time to relax, hang out and just catch up but then after everything was moved over we went to a super nice steak house...the waiter wasn't to happy about the bread crumbs that were all over the table but that's dinner with an almost 2 year old;) As always the time goes too fast and it was back to the airport. The ride home was a little crazy...a storm came through the airport so everything was delayed about 3 hours meaning we missed our connecting flight so we had to go jump on a different plane long story short we left around 11 and got home about 1:00 so it was a long day coming home but Madi did just great. We are already looking forward to when Had and Cin come to Idaho so we get more time with them!!
